I Have a G.A. PFRETZSCHNER, Antonius Straduarius Cremonae faciebat anno 1716 Violin, Made about 1890? for sale. It's in excellent condition, minus the bow, with original wood case.

With violins a lot depends on how it sounds, violins of this type with "Strad" markings varies a great deal. In this case "G.A. Pfretzschner" in this context is a fictional name affixed to a label as a "brand." Like Pontiac or Buick are trade names, at auction they generally sellfor under $250.00.
