Copyright marks generally indicate a print rather than a painting, if it's a print their values will be quite modest. Have a look at the surface with a magnifying glass, if it's print you could see the image is made up of a series of small dots.

I think these might be some of her silkscreen prints.

That makes sense about the copyright. It is difficult to tell what the medium is. It doesn't look like a print (see the close-up image) because, although there are some splotches, they are irregular and random and the background appears to be something soft...not paper.
