The Great Wall offers a variety of lunch selections for a great value, $4.00 to $4.50 for more food than one can possibly eat in one meal. Leftovers reheat well. The customer service is consistently good. All entrees are cooked to order, taking 5-10 minutes, but if you are in a hurry, you can order ahead by phone.
Their dinner menu is even more extensive than the lunch menu (100+ offerings versus 42 for lunch), with prices ranging from $3.00-$10.00. Open daily to 10, Fri & Sat to 11.

The Golden Corral is a buffet chain restaurant, cheap and cheerful! Not somewhere you could eat on a regular basis in my opinion, although many tourists swear by this place and eat breakfast there everyday of their holiday!Breakfast is $7.99 each for adults, less for kids and over 60s, but it includes EVERYTHING.

Great value, very good food, easy parking, free drink and desert with dinner, which I would say averages about $8. I do not think that is a bad value. The portion sizes are very large, and I always get too much to eat!

On Saturday morning's my usual route is to hit the best bargain in the city for breakfast - the Torrance Farmer's Market. There are so many low-cost and wonderfully delicious choices here. Be sure to get there as early as you can as the place fills up fast and you'll have to wait in a line if you are there after 8:30-9:00 on weekends.

After you eat breakfast you can then shop for super-fresh local farm produce and groceries.
