I love Jon's markets. Some people make fun of Jon's because of something as silly as the signs. They remember when many of their markets were Vons and they simply changed the "V" to a "J". Who cares - Jon's has the best deals in LA on quality produce, cheese, meats from other countries, and breads you won't find in a regular market.

Pros:
Cheese - Feta, Romanian, Russian
Bread - Round flatbreads that you find in Eastern Europe
Meats - Read to eat bacon (Hungary)
Produce - Great prices on everything and fresh, fresh, fresh

Jon's Markets do so much business that they are constantly restocking and what you'll get is extremely fresh.

Cons:
None that I can think of. They can get busy at times, but that's a testament to how good they are.

I would say that Jon's will save you the most money possible while providing you with regular staples that you'd find in any commercial market along with products that you won't find in many markets - food and goods from around the world that are simply scrumptious.
