Regarding a Chinese Porcelain Jardiniere Fish Pot

Chickadee's picture

This is a very beautiful piece but the bottom has been broken out. The top rim and about 3" of the top is intact. It's about 11" in diameter and perhaps 14" tall, very thick material. I believe it may be over a hundred years old. I think I have all the pieces. Is it worth spending about $100 to have it professionally glued back together?

It depends on what you have, how old it is, it's size etc., generally speaking, if it it's a 20th century piece, no it's not worth fixing.
